There are two main pools on board Queen Elizabeth, the Lido pool and Pavilion pool, each is open throughout the day, as are the whirlpools found next to each pool.
Games Deck Queen Elizabeth’s Games Deck is a large, covered space on the top deck of the ship. You’ll find a wide variety of games played here – feel free to try a hand at any of them or perhaps sign up for a friendly tournament to add a little competitive edge.
Shuffleboard Cunard passengers have been enjoying the traditional nautical games of shuffleboard and deck quoits for almost as long as we have been sailing. Challenge friends to a game or join in one of the tournaments advertised in the Daily Programme.

Day 1 - Sydney, Australia

Day 4 - Queen Charlotte Sound, New Zealand
On the northern shores of New Zealand’s South Island are the Marlborough Sounds and nestled among the waterways in the east is Queen Charlotte Sound. Known in Maori as Totaranui, Queen Charlotte Sound is an extraordinary site of natural beauty. Rolling hillsides. Tranquil waters. Lush green native bushland. The scenery here is just begging to be photographed.

Day 5 - New Plymouth, New Zealand
Lying at the base of New Zealand’s most perfectly formed volcano – Mount Taranaki – sunny New Plymouth is brimming with vibrant art galleries and gorgeous parks. At 8,261 feet Mount Taranaki dominates the skyline of New Plymouth. Covered in a veritable maze of hiking trails, the dormant volcano is surrounded by thick forests filled with lush waterfalls, rainforests, and mossy swamps.
New Plymouth is famous for its sunny climate and has a reputation as one of the best places for surfing in New Zealand. But the city also has an artistic side, with its acclaimed Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, the country’s only contemporary art museum.
Day 6 - Wellington, New Zealand
Perched in the hills surrounding a sparkling bay, Wellington’s beautiful setting and the crispy weather is akin to that of San Francisco. The tiny white sails mingling with the cargo ships in the bay.
Charming Edwardian architecture complements an impressive and contemporary skyline of concrete and glass, while the cultural side of the city is said to surpass even Auckland.
Day 7 - Napier, New Zealand
Napier is New Zealand's Art Deco city. ‘Thanks’ to the huge earthquake of 1931, large parts of Napier were rebuilt in Deco and classical Revival architectural styles. It is set in the Hawke's Bay

Day 9 - Auckland, New Zealand
In a nation where stunning scenery is a given, Auckland doesn’t fail to deliver. A watery wonderland on New Zealand’s North Island, with yachts meandering through its harbours and adjoining Hauraki Gulf, it’s little wonder Auckland is known as the ‘City of Sails’.
It’s also surrounded by more than 48 extinct volcanoes, set against a backdrop of wild and mountainous scenery, the likes of which New Zealand is famed for. If you’re hoping to snap the perfect holiday photographs here, you’ll find no shortage of inspiring vistas vying for a space in your camera roll.
Day 10 - Bay of Islands, New Zealand
North of Auckland, along the narrow Northland peninsula, lies a shady ‘cathedral’ of some of the world’s largest trees. These hulking specimens stand up to 170 feet tall, and are over 1,200 years old.
The captivating Bay of Islands shelters 150 islands and enchanting wetlands of birdlife, fish, seals, dolphins, and even whales. No wonder it’s one of New Zealand’s favourite destinations.

For spectacular 360-degree views, ascend Sydney Harbour Bridge’s south-east pylon from which Sydney Opera House and The Rocks - one of the city’s liveliest precincts and home to the Museum of Sydney and Museum of Contemporary Art - are visible. The Sydney Aquarium, National Maritime Museum and the Chinese Garden of Friendship can be found in Darling Harbour, with Chinatown also nearby. The Australian Museum, ranked one of the top five history museums in the world, is ideal for anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge of Australia’s aboriginal heritage. Alternatively, escape the city’s hustle at Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens. Incorporating Government House and the Conservatorium of Music, this sprawling parkland offers 24 hectares of native exotic trees.

A deposit of 25% of the cruise fare per person is required upon booking. Final payment due 120 days prior to sailing.
The service charge applies to all guests, and differs according to which accommodation you’re staying in, with Queens and Princess Grill Suites being $16.50 per person per day and
Britannia Staterooms equating to $14.50 per person per day.

Also included are the traditional gay group escort and activities, subject to minimum participation.
As long as the group minimum space requirements are met, then an onboard gay group host will be assigned. On our Hosted Group Cruises, we will have a representative on the cruise with you. We will have nightly meet ups and we will usually have a group shore excursion. A non-hosted Group Cruise is a cruise we organize, and we will arrange for a nighly meet up, but there will not be our representative onboard.
