All prices are for bed and breakfast accommodation and are per person for 7 nights unless otherwise indicated

On Saturday 26th March The European Gay Ski week holds its welcome buffet and drinks so you will not need dinner at your hotel on the Saturday evening and generally people choose to go out to dinner for at least one night during the week. So, rather than offer a 7 night half board option where you have no flexibility, we are offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation with the option of booking dinners just on the nights that you want to. The cost of the dinners will be €24.00 per person per night and you will need to tell the hotel by 18.00 on the day that you want to eat in.

We are delighted to have the stunning Hotel Le Pic Blanc as the host hotel for the European Gay Ski Week. Throughout the week it will be open exclusively to our passholders and without doubt will become the heart of 2011's The European Gay Ski Week in Alpe d'Huez.

Fitting perfectly into its environment opening onto an awe inspiring panorama, the Pic Blanc is a superb quality hotel in a great location.

With the Hotel de Pic Blanc being located in the Quartier des Bergers, it is less than 250 meters from the pistes, lifts, ski school and the European Gay Ski Weeks' Guides meeting point.

The hotel offers a wide range of facilities and great panoramic views from the unusually spacious bedrooms.

Once inside Hotel Le Pic Blanc you can relax in luxurious surroundings in front of the open log fire in the bar, on the glassed in terrace or on your rooms private balcony. All hotel guests, have free use of the Spa centre which comprises an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzis, Saunas and fitness centre. There is also beauty treatments and massage services available.

There is a nightly per person visitors tax payable locally. The rooms are available from 2pm on the arrival day and must be left by 10.00am on the departure day.

Chamois d'Or Hotel - A Premium 4*** Star Hotel

Prices shown per person for Bed and Breakfast, Dinners are available from 49€ three courses, 59€ four courses per person. Dinner reservations should be made by 18.00.

The premium four star Chamois d'or is Alpe d'Huez's premier luxury hotel. It is situated at the top of the Quartier des Jeux within 20 meters of the pistes and lifts. It is truly a Ski in Ski Out Hotel.

Location at the foot of the slopes. Open your eyes and from your own room or the terrace - from anywhere - marvel at the majestic panoramic views of the snowy Grandes Rousses peaks.

Open the door and put on your skis. The ski lifts are just two steps away, as is the start of the cable-car which will take you up to the Pic Blanc and the world's longest slope.

A warm welcome, attentive staff, charming decoration, the patina of the old furniture, the warmth of the fabrics and woods awaits you in the Chamois d'or.

Should you need it the Chamois d'or will always provide a peaceful retreat away from the festivities of the European Gay Ski Week.

In the mornings you will be provided with a delicious nutritious breakfast to prepare you for your days exertions and when you return in the afternoon from a day's skiing you can relax on the large terrace, on the balcony of your room or cosily huddled up by the fireplace in the lounge, with the scent of the forests in the warm wooden atmosphere of a traditional wooden mountain chalet.

The Accommodation
Warm fabrics, soft woods and antique furniture create a cosy and inviting atmosphere, Fluffly duvets, subtle lighting and panoramic views can be enjoyed in all of the rooms many of which have sunny balconies with deckchairs. The 5 suites are large and spacious and are all on the upper level of the hotel enjoying some of the best views. WIFI is available in all of the rooms.

Room Facilities also include: Air conditioning, bathroom with bath tub, shower, Refrigerateor, Satelite TV and Telephone. throughout all of the inviting rooms & suites.

In addition to the facilities provided within your suites the hotel offers all the services you would expect from a Hotel of this standard, including Lounge, Bar, Restaurant, Concierge servive and of cousre a supurb wellness center the "Spas et Beaute Montagne" which is at your disposal complete with a heated indoor swimming pool, jaccuzzi, sauna hammam, fitness room, and a beauty salon.

The reputation of the chef and his team is that their restaurant is the height of fine dining within Alpe d'Huez and that they will be treat you to exsquisite meals, using the best products and local delicacies that nature can provide. Everything is home-prepared here, from the blueberry jam to the foie gras and the dandelion honey to the smoked salmon. The chives are collected in Summer from the Sarenne gorges and the wild cumin at the beginning of Autumn in the high Alpine pastures. The truffle omelette, langoustine gratin with crab butter and soufflé glazed with Genepy should be sufficient reward for your busy days in the open air!

L'Ours Blanc Privilege is made up of 4 buildings accommodating 69 apartments in an ideal central location, enjoying a three-way aspect over the resort the valley and the Massif de l'Oisans.

From this residence there is direct access to the shopping mall, its bars and restaurants, the Ice rink and within 50 metres the steaming outdoor swiming pool. The mid station of the 'Tele Centre' lift is only 300 metres from the residence.

This 'Privilege' accommodation has been renovated to offer spacious and comfortable apartments tastfully decorated in warm tones. They benefit from practical equipment and comfortable furnishings.

Just about the best location in Les Bergers these great value three star apartments are right on the piste, 50 metres from the shops and 300 metres from the Eurpoean Gay Ski Week's principal hotel Le Pic Blanc.

This recently renovated apartment complex with comfortable apartments which are well equipped for self-catering is set in a fantastic location on the slopes.

It is situated near (100 metres) the Fleche de Sarenne gondola with a choice of other lifts close by, giving the best access to the skiing in the resort. Boasting this ideal location, they are a great choice for anyone wanting good value, well-located accommodation.

This three star residence is the only one in Quartiers de Bergers which boasts amoungst its amenities a pool and a sauna. in its immediate vicinity is the majority of our accommodation the lifts are only metres away.

This residence is less than 100 metres from the ski lifts and the centre of the Quartiers de Bergers and is a similar distance from the main entrance of the European Gay Ski Week's Principal hotel, Le Pic Blanc and its Cabaret Bar and Late lounge which has been privatised and is open exclusivley to our passholders and thier guests.

This comfortable residence faces the resort on one side and the valley and the Massif des Ecrins on the other.

Loceted in the Quartiers de Bergers sector next door to our main Hotel which houses the Cabaret Bar and Late Lounge this comfortable residence is convenient for both skiing and the entertainment that is on offer.

We believe this residence with its excellent location and equally good rates is going to become one of our most popular 2 star residence's.

It is located in the Quartier de Bergers next door, with only 20 metres to walk, to the main entrance of our principal hotel and its bars which we have privatised and is exclusively for the use of European Gay Ski Week passholders and their guests throughout the week.

The residence is also conveniently situated for the pistes, lifts, ski school and the European Gay Ski Weeks' guides meeting point which are all within 250 metres, as are the local shops, bars, and restaurants.

The apartments are either south east or south west facing.

All the studio's and the apartments have a fully equipped kitchen area with electric stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, electric coffemaker and dishwasher. Bed linen and towels are provided and every studio and apartment has its own ski locker which is lockable.

Other facilities include a games hall with Pool table, a launderette, a luggage room and a bakery service (by arrangement with the reception).

Bedlinen and towels are not supplied, rental of disposable bedlinen may be rented from the reception towels are also available 6€ single bed, 9€ double bed, towels 6.50€

Residence L'Ours Blanc

The L'Ours Blanc Residence is in the centre of the Alpe d'Huez with all the shops, bars and restaurants one step from the front door of the building and the ski lifts within 200 metres.

In the heart of the resort, the recently refurbished Pierre & Vacances L'Ours Blanc residence is a beautiful wood-decorated building with superb views over the valley of the Massif de l'Oisans. It also benefits from the shops, bars, restaurants and steaming outdoor pool being just moments away.

All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen area with 2 or 4 electric hotplates, refrigerator, mini-oven, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker. Bathroom with toilet, television, vacuum cleaner, balcony and underground parking is available. Bed linen & towels, are included.

There is a visitors tax of 1€ per person per night payable and a damage deposit of is also payable in the resort for this accommodation. The kitchen must be cleaned and washing up done before your departure or a cleaning charge will be deducted from your deposit.
